I just bought some jasper with Psilomelane dendrites. I know crown of silver can be very hard on saw blades. Is this likely to case me saw trouble?

Daniel: Based on my experience, a limited amount of psilomelane in the rock should not be too bad to cut. Medicine Bow Agate that has lots of sort of softer dendrites is awful as is crown of silver. The extra blade drag seems to be proportionate to the amount of manganese included in the material....Mel

Nice looking rock. I think it will cut OK.
