I've seen the coffin type lid before, but be damned if I can remember the make. Does look like a good buy.

This saw is being sold as "has a 24 inch blade". For those that care, that saw looks like it might accommodate a 30" blade. There is room behind the blade for another 3 inches or so.

yeah, its a large body saw thats for sure. way out of my league, I cringe at the cost of keeping good oil in my 14" saw. I cant imagine having a saw like this without a good dependable income from slabs and even then you would need a cheap source for the rough to make it worth all the labor.
Still nobody with an I.D. of manufacture yet?

Thats a Star Diamond saw. Looks like the 30" model.

I figured you might know what it was! I guess the colors had me thinking old star diamond but I had never seen that style before.

I find coral that would be too large for a 30 inch blade.Just doesn't fit in the kayak.Fine saw.
