it will cut like butter, but for hand feeding .030 is thinner than I like to work with. how steady is you hand?
Since I like to do some pre-grinding on the side of the blade I like the MK 225 HotDog, but some people don't like the .050 thickness.
Between the two though both are good.

When I used to have my 7" saw I used the MK 303 Professional Lapidary .050". Very sturdy blade and like Daniel said, at that thickness, it could handle preforming with the side of the blade. Made things a lot faster!

Thanks for posting this I didn't know a .030 kerf 7" blade existed I'll have to put that on my ever growing list of supplies
My MK blade on my tile saw right now is .040 kerf not sure what model number it is
