Howdy folks, The wife's off shopping and I had me some time to saw so here are a few pics....Mel Cut open the wife's limb cast from last weeks trip: I had this one laying by the saw to see if I could cut an unfractured slab. I had cut on it some before with no luck except for a couple of small freefrom cabs I have partly done. This is the endcut. Some kind of wierdoid palm root or something from last years GW trip. Any of you fossil guys who know this wood feel free to chime in . Thought this chunk was going to be dino bone wood but it turned out to be just another fricking golden moss limb cast. And finally, some shrinkwood. This is very solid stuff but kind of muted colors.

The shrink wood looks as though a Lilliputian tiled his patio. Cool.

Those are pretty nice finds! I like the limb cast and shrinkwood best.
