Well its time to make the site go live. My wife and I have been working on the site for the last year and a half. There is more I'd like to have done before making it live but if I keep waiting it will never happen. Any feed back is appreciated. Once we finish moving from House A to House B I'll be adding more things to the site, need time to take photos. As many may remember I don't post photos here as often as I should because it takes me hours to get the photos the way I want. I really need to stop trying to be a perfectionist. Here is the site Copper Gem. Thanks for looking.

Site looks good, but you need better lighting for your pics. Everything is too dark.

Get rid of the BLACK background and it would lighten the pix up, maybe. Otherwise, great site and selection. Ken

You did a great job with the site. I agree that a lighter background is needed.
Oh and your Coprolite cab is not Coprolite but is Tahoma Agate/Jasper

I like the layout and all the information you give about the cabs like finish, size,,girdle size etc... Looks like you put a ton of work into it and I know what you mean about taking the photos. sometimes I think it takes longer to get the photos and post them to etsy then it takes me to grind and polish the cab.

OK.
So.
I am gonna disagree with many o' my colleagues. Grain of halite stuff. Maybe two-three grains.
Your images are fine. High contrast = good; non distracting backgrounds = good.
The actual product is properly exposed. I want access to more pixels. Allow the buyer to see the actual product in better detail.
Your website seems to be written by you, not by some pre-coded package like wordpress. That either opens the heavens or ends your presention depending on your knowledge. If available, please allow the viewer to see larger images.
As a client; or as an advisor............ I could use a 50# hunk of native copper. More copper better. Just tell me where to send payment!

Oh! I see. Little/tiny windows for blowing up bigger images are counter-intuitive and not user friendly. That was the source of my cornfusion. Still seeking native copper boulder.

Everyone thanks for the feed back. I plan on doing more with it after I get things settled with my house.

Tom, it looks good. You just need more stuff! It tok a few minutes, but I like how you can view the enlarged image. I like the black background & the photos are very good.
