Well 2 weeks ago I pulled a batch out of the vibe and cleaned it up, but haven't had time to photo and share it yet. This is a broad mix, a lot of lakers, Marshall Wyoming agate, turritella, Mexican stuff and a little smattering of this and that the whole batch Mexican agate, from a seam More mexican lace/laguna stuff bloodstone a little piece of "Wampidote" from one of Jim's (Wampidy) first gift boxes to me, this is a chunk off a nice nodule of it. Some Turritella (goniobasis snail) from my trip to Wamsutter Wyoming last summer Some of the Marshall, Wyoming stuff, including a nodule I cut in half and tumbled smoky quartz carnelian some of the lakers some wonderstone (rhyolite) bahia a chunk off a poppy jasper a little epidosite I hounded here in Colorado Thanks for looking!

Nice work! My faves are the Mexican agate and the turritella. Since is sounds like you collected the turritella yourself, that probably makes it extra-satisfying. -Don

Let me see if I can get some time then to take a few days. I was planning on being over in that neck of the woods and that would be as good a time as any as long as I can't get a break in work.

Almost five years after originally posted, the thread is back up and running, Yay!
I really like that Mexican Seam agate. Something like that would make a great focal bead!
Thanks, John.

rockpickerforever, I suspect I have a lot of ghost posts anymore. I should still have all the photos and everything I need to do is online so it is actually fairly simple for me to resurrect them. If you see any more just holler, I have a LOT of old posts, I need to see if I can sort my activity in reverse order so I can find them all!

John, the easiest way I know of to "go backwards" is to go to your profile page, then click on "View this member's recent threads." Just start with the most recent, and keep going down the page, then to the next and the next, repeat until done. It seems you have used several different sites to host your photos, so threads in which the photo links work are randomly placed, not in order of time posted. But then, you probably already knew that, right?
Here's just a couple that need image links fixed: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/72330/crystal-hunting-feather-lakes-Colorado forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/72169/updated-pics-wyoming-wood-stromatolite
A few photos missing from this one forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/70563/oregon-road-trip-august-heavy and this one forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/67916/busted-leg-tumble
and forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/66858/fairburn-bachelor-party-weekend , including both the links that are in the first post of the thread.
Will let you have at it for a bit, and check back later to see how caught up you are! Have fun! Jean
ETA - Once the links in the threads you have posted are fixed, then you can go through all your recent posts, and fix the photos there.
Something I also need to do with my posts and threads, sigh....

OK, all are updated. I checked the ones you said were missing images and I -think- that maybe they just hadn't loaded(?) Way to get on it, John! Of those five (and two embedded links) there are still some missing photos in a couple of those threads. Take another look. This thread forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/72169/updated-pics-wyoming-wood-stromatolite , below the photo of your sleeping son there are a few missing. Also a few sideways ones here.
A few still missing here forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/70563/oregon-road-trip-august-heavy half way down the page. Busted leg tumble forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/67916/busted-leg-tumble only has first photo, then six missing, then a photo, then more missing.
Oh, and you got a few of the pics oriented wrong . A few sideways ones I this thread forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/72330/crystal-hunting-feather-lakes-Colorado .
If you think there is a chance they will still load, give it a day or two. I could point them all out for you, but I don't want to seem like a nag, telling you what to do, lol. Let me know if you still want me to help you, or if I am getting on your nerves!
Looking at all these old pics has me remembering how much fun I had going on those trips with you and your family! Thanks, John.
