This was my first saw. I used it for two years I rarely used the polishing unit, but it works fine. This is a Craftsman Companion - mid 60's, I think. Features 10" gravity feed saw (with homemade cover), Two SIC wheels, sanding wheel, felt wheel and a polishing disk. It has separate motors for the saw and wheels. This sucker is cast iron (or something). I had planned to convert the saw to water for softer, more valuable stuff. I am not sure what to ask for it...maybe someone can help me out. This is pick-up only...I am located on the western side of Arkansas north of I-40 near Fort Smith. Questions?

I sold one just like that at Quartzsite this year for $300 if you need a price comparison. I like how the arbor top opens up, makes the bearings easy to get to.

Thanks, Tony. I was thinking between $300 and $400...I have accessories that go with it (rolls of sandpaper, etc.) However, since there doesn't seem to been much interest, I may separate the two units and somehow convert the polishing unit to a tumbler.

The low interest could have a lot to do with the fact that it has to be picked up. Arkansas is a long trip for many of us.

I realize pick-up only lowers the interest pool, however I am not in a position to crate it up..
