Wish I had an AR. No law against them in South Dakota. Had someone rapping off rounds on full auto half a mile up the hill from me couple days ago.

Geoff, I am serious, I'll buy them in parts. I hate to show my ignorance, but does CA not allow you to receive all the weapon parts in one package? What am I missing?

Hate Commiefornia too, that's why I left. Commiefornia has a ten round clip limit. Can't legally ship or sell those 30 rounders there Sheltie. AR's are restricted there too unless they meet Commiepornia standards. Think that requires your AR to have a fixed mag 10 rounds or less. I know there are some kind of exceptions for preowned, pre ban mags etc but not sure how that works. Here in the glorious state of Texas of course, we don't have to worry abut all that crap. High cap AR's all over the place here *S*. Ain't that sweet?...Mel

I thought it probably had to be something like that but I didn't know. I guess I better leave it at that.

Yeah, what Scott is hinting at is Commefornia does allow you to get parts to repair large cap pre ban mags. The complete mags are prohibited from commerce.. Cannot legally be imported from another state and the penalties are quite severe.....Mel

Mel, these magazines are to hold ten rounds for my 458 Socom. They hold ten rounds of that ammo.

Scott: Wow that's handy. I had not realized that ammo was interchangeable with the same style clip. That large caliber is very popular with pig hunters here in Texas. Guess it can be loaded slow enough ( subsonic) to make a suppressor very effective. Saw one at a gun show with one of those heat imaging scopes. Very cool but the scope cost like $6000.
How do you get rid of the little triangular separator that shows in the front of the 223 mags in your pic to convince folks that is for the Socom that does not have that little separator?....Mel

Mel, it's just a "follower". That plastic piece is a dime a dozen! That's way cool. Pig hunting with an AR15-45 SOCOM... Mel, I am on my way... Can I bring your bride a gift?? Geoff, 458 less than half an inch.
