Scott, here's a declassified bit of trivia about US capabilities in the 1980s: www.space.com/637-anatomy-spy-satellite.htmlWe actually watched the Soviets building their missiles and nuke sites in real time... starting from the late 1960s.

The August/September helicopter attack is coming soon over my South Fulton county area.
It is by far the most desolate quadrant of Atlanta and rates high with stolen vehicle and dead body droppers. Famous for illegal marijuana growers.
They fly over searching for the wacky weed. I had about 300 forty gallon pots of bamboo and they flew low to inspect. Blew em down, made a mess. Then they flew and landed in my neighbors cow pasture and stepped out of the copter just in time for my neighbor punch the guy's lights out. It ran his breeder bull into a barbed wire fence and almost killed it. They paid for his damages and he got to punch an idiot.
The Atlanta airport noise has rendered 1000's of acres unlivable due to noise and creates an interesting jungle with the Chattahoochee river flowing thru it. We can ride ATV's for miles thru the territory and the highest density of trophy whitetail deer are taken there. Lots of poachers. Interesting dynamics.
Helicopters no longer fly low. Waste, absolute waste.

Reminds me of this old joke: An FBI agent tells a Montana rancher, 'I need to inspect your ranch for illegal grown drugs.'
The old rancher says, 'Okay, but don't go in that field over there.'
The agent verbally explodes saying, 'Mister, I have the authority of the Federal Government with me.' Reaching into his rear pant pocket and removing his badge. The officer proudly displays it to the farmer. 'See this badge? This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish, on any land. No questions asked or answered given. Have I made myself clear? Do you understand?'
The old rancher nods politely and goes about his chores.
Later, the old rancher hears loud screams and spies the agent running for his life and close behind is the rancher's bull.
With every step the bull is gaining ground on the agent. The agent is clearly terrified.
The old rancher immediately throws down his tools, runs to the fence and yells at the top of his lungs.....
'Your badge! Show him your badge!'

It is a great analogy.

PETA was using "drones" to spy on hunters and the hunters were shooting them like ducks in the sky...LMAO..They quit doing that, was wasting money, because the hunters weren't going to stop shooting them either...Charges couldn't be pressed either, because PETA was interfering in their business without permission! Government drones are so high in elevation(5000 to 9000 feet) you wouldn't see or hear them, let alone shoot one! I have a few buddies that would try though-LOL!

Nothing about "tracking mice" Watching a construction project from space? Of course! Tracking the heat signature of a single 50 gram mouse? Bullshit. We could do it now with a GPS tracking device mounted on the mouse.

You'll just have to disbelieve. And how is this different anyway for you, with or without evidence? LOL!

You are right, it's no different. Just another of your silly claims going unsubstantiated.

More like your inability to comprehend, with or without evidence.

Back in 71, I was taking a two years course in Electronics Technology, my electronics instructor was a 29 year retired Lt Commander from the Navy. He stated that satellites could read bold fairly large print from a newspaper from someone reading a newspaper on the streets of Moscow Russia. We wanted to hear more but he stopped and told us he had already said too much. So you never know !

It was pretty shocking what the US spy community could do in the 1980s under Reagan. Today's available technology STILL can't compare... and I suspect they not only can still do it, they're still doing it.

Are you suggesting that current tech has GONE BACKWARDS since Reagan? That illustrates a fundamental misunderstanding of how tech works. You are so naive. How is Bill Gates anyways?

BTW we can make our own personal drones with cameras etc. In 1986 I was actually working on a RC airplane that had a trap door that would drop an M80 and I was going to bomb the kid down the road that I didn't like. I should've patented that idea lol. At least i've recently applied for copyrights on my BadDogs sketches.

This does seem to be a dangerous and probably illegal idea but dang, I'd love to have me a mounted drone my wall. I could have me a picture with my foot on the drone aholdin up my shooter and big ole grin on my mug. Hunting magazine could do an article on proper drone shooting gear, drone lures, drone calls, correct ammo for drone hunting etc. There could be drone derbies, special drone tags for your license, you could make a drone collection, drone jewelry. There could be drone recycling or drone bounties. Why it would open up a world of possibilities. What fun!......Mel
