This is a pull behind 60 inch mower w/3 blades for pulling behind an ATV. It started as a 10.5 HP Befco and after mods is probably 18-20 HP all to the blades. Removed an overhead cam 14 HP from MTD mower. Shaved head Polished and ported it Re jetted carb Raised governed RPM Enlarged gas tank Rope start to reduce rotating weight It out mows faster than a Dixie Chopper. Left side in photo has protection removed for exposed blade to hedge, trim pond edges, and chop bamboo groves grove edges into submission.

Need to paint up a warning sign for my John Deere. THIS TRACTOR BRAKES FOR SNAKES AND GROUND BIRD NESTS. I always try to avoid mowing snakes because they help control field mice and insects. And during nesting season I usually end up with several wide circles of tall grass where Killdeer, pheasants, ducks and other birds are nesting. But I make a game out of chasing down and mowing field mice and gophers.

Jim , you need to paint that like a milk cow. You know, white with random black spots. Then you will have a hotrod "Cow-mower". I used to have a "cow-tiller" but dont have prood, so dont ask.

I have a mobile field mouse barber shop. If it ain't raining, and ain't too hot, Think I'll go give a few cuts in the morning. Clip the occasional European Starling chick that's fallen out of the nest too.

Rob, I have roughly 4-1/2 acres of lawn to mow. I'd never make it with a normal walk behind mower. My only real obstacles are trees and drainage ditches along 2 sides of my property.

I get my butt chewed for knocking all the dogwoods down w/the tractor.
They have low widow maker limbs and knock me off the tractor or break the exhaust manifold by hitting the muffler.
And her yard artobstacles

I'd never make it with a walk behind either. I have 2 riders but need to upgrade to a zeroturn. The neighbors mow grass commercially and do almost a couple acres in 1 hour or less for $40 and I do the trim so I havn't been motivated to spend money on another mower. It takes me a min of 8 hours to do it all myself so yes they really cut down on time but granted his is a commercial mower and he spent like $10k on it.

In North Dakota,we spent a day and half mowing our property, with push mowers and one JD rider...Once in awhile I would borrow my buddies 76" cut JD mower and get it done in a little over a couple hours... Here on our new property in Oregon,I can mow my whole yard in 15 minutes....LOL "Childs play"..
We use to go watch the lawn mower races in Minot,ND..They had some fast mowers..But the fastest thing I seen there was a 4 wheeler with a helocopter engine strapped to it....Freakin" FASTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!! And loud from the turbos...
