Did you watch it?
Next they will be trying to debunk the fact that Monsanto is out to control the world food supply. Their latest trick is patenting pig genes. Check this one out. This is not a fairy tale. Check it out then try to debunk it. Jim

Thank you for the clarification on this video. Now lets see you debunk the next one. I am not good at researching things. Did you watch the Monsanto video about taking over the world food supply? If ya'll think I am living in lala land that is only true part of the time. I have offered a box of slabs to anyone that does not believe that Monsanto has patented pig genes and I would love to see someone debunk it. lol Jim

It has also been said that FEMA will not confiscate weapons from American citizens. IT HAS HAPPENED. Check out Katrina weapons confiscation and see what you get. They word things so broadly that they can do whatever they want. Don't keep your heads in the sand too long. Jim

Jim
I like you but when you start believing the conspiracy nonsense of a Michael Savage or a weeping Glen Beck you lose all credibility.

You know with all the crap going on in the world, everything that has come to light, and then stuff such as things our governments have done to us in the past that were declassified etc it's fairly easy to spout off topics such as 'russian troops' and not think twice about it. Truthfully if we knew some of the discussions behind closed doors we'd probably crawl under a rock and never come out again. These bastards can't be trusted and when shtf you'll see them for what they are.........a bunch of self-serving jackasses hell bent on being rich and maintaining power.
The part that blows my mind are all the people that think this stuff is all in the past and that it could never happen again because we are a more advanced civilization. Personally I think our technology has exceeded our capabilities to keep from killing ourselves.

These bastards can't be trusted and when shtf you'll see them for what they are.........a bunch of self-serving jackasses hell bent on being rich and maintaining power. quote] I'm sorry, but I used to be one of those "bastards" behind the closed doors and I have to respectfully disagree with your assertion that they are etc., etc., etc. "They" are a group of Americans, much like anyone else, who feel very strongly about their country. They are privy to a LOT of information that 99% of the country is, info that would affect the security and safety of this country. And yes, if you knew that info, you WOULD probably crawl under a rock somewhere. As far as being "a bunch of self-serving jackasses hell bent on being rich and maintaining power", nothing could be further from the truth. They are patriots in the truest sense of the word. None of the workers get rich from their work other than the enrichment that comes from knowing that whatever little thing you may have done goes to keeping the country a little safer. So, if you wish to attack someone, I would suggest you be more specific in your attempt because those of us who serve, or have served, in the protection of this country are sick and tired of being lumped in with a select few who may have other priorities. But even those people still have this country as their top priority. It's a popular thing in this country to speak ill of those who serve. It's especially done by those who know nothing other than what they read or hear in the media. As one who was on the "inside" I can assure you that those who complain the most ought to be on their knees kissing the feet of those who try to keep our country safe.

As one who was on the "inside" I can assure you that those who complain the most ought to be on their knees kissing the feet of those who try to keep our country safe. I have no doubt that you did your best to keep this country safe. Many many people have and they are honest to a fault. But there are bad guys out there that want to control the world and the USA is the easiest target. Did you know that Monsanto produced agent orange for the US government to use in VietNam. They are so interlocked with the US government you could not pry them apart with a bomb. Monsanto controls almost all of the corn and soybean crops in this country. That includes the "Roundup" pesticide that is required to grow those crops. They will not grow without it. Do a little research and check out the other side of the coin. Monsanto spends billions of dollars to get people to believe that what they are doing is the right thing and like all other TV advertising, most people believe them. It would only take you a few minutes to read this article and it is not in any way related to the nut cases that you mentioned above. I would love to hear your opinion after you read it. Jim, I agree with you that there are indeed bad guys out there who are intent on either harming our country or are in it for their own gain. What I object to, however, is those who paint everyone in government service with the same brush without taking into account what it is they do or even know more than a tiny bit of WHY they do it. Evil exists; it's how we react to it that matters. With regards to Monsanto and others in that type of industry. I'm not nearly as understanding on this topic as on the intel community. But, I do know that Roundup is NOT a pesticide. I also know that plants don't require Roundup in order to be able to grow. On the contrary, Roundup is a herbicide (weed killer), it will kill almost anything broad leafed that grows from the ground. Now, if you mean that Roundup is used to keep weeds away from plants, you have a point. However, it must be used very judiciously or you will have bare ground. People sometimes use it in their yards to kill crabgrass and other weeds and then wonder why they have a brown spot and nothing will grow there for some time. (Don't ask me how I know! ) Now let's look at Agent Orange. It turned out to be a terrible chemical that has done unimaginable things to people's health. However, that was never the intention. The intention was to clear wide areas of vegetation which hid trails in order to expose the NVA and VC who were infiltrating south in VN to kill, among others, American troops. The effects of the chemical weren't known until later, when it was too late for many, and the program was stopped. Connecting large companies with the government is not something new. I can't think of very many industries that have no connection whatsoever with the government. I wish I understood more about the controversy, but from what I've read regarding Monsanto and others, I can't get very excited or think that there is a conspiracy brewing. These companies are trying to gain a competitive advantage in some ways and if they are able to use the government, then that's what they will do. Maybe I'm naïve, but I trust the government to apply the appropriate limits on these companies as needed. I did read the link you provided. I spent almost seven years in Germany and the publication from which the article came is well known as a left wing source of "information". Please remember that I have no particular expertise in this field, but I feel safe in expressing my opinion that Monsanto, and others like it have nothing sinister in mind other than to make a profit. Personally, I see nothing wrong with that. Denny

I totally disagree. I'm not going to change you're mind and you're not going to change mine so it's not worth arguing over.

One can only go so far before realizing that someone else won't change their mind. Too many people rant on to no avail. Good for you. I would add that I wasn't trying to change anyone's minds or opinion. I was just stating what I knew in one area and what I felt in another.
