Got to admit I'm curious to see what is going to happen here. NSA is justifying their spying program by saying they have foiled a massive new terrorist plot through their spying activities. Seems pretty convenient while they are being investigated for spying. I'd hope they'd not invent a threat to help cover their asses and justify their existence, but then I don't trust the government much anymore so it would not surprise me if they did.....Mel

What Mel said. Plus, let's see the proof. This is not a good time to hide. Jim

That's the problem here can't trust anyone. There's a lot of assholes that need to get purged from the system but good luck with that.
I like how they always catch all these plans ahead of time. I think it's because most of the time it's setups to justify their jobs. If you decided to do something and didn't tell anyone your chances of getting caught are very low. As far as the NSA trying to make themselves look good.......that would be zero surprise.

This is the most open Admin in US History. Did you seriously think that we are EVER told everything that goes on at the Presidential level?
What details do you know of the 53 Americans killed at different US Embassies under Bush? Got their names even, let alone what happened when they died? Why is it that you even know about Benghazi?

This is the most open Admin in US History. Did you seriously think that we are EVER told everything that goes on at the Presidential level? Notwithstanding your rather shallow opinion; there has NEVER been an administration that pushed a 2100 page bill thru congress, that nobody had read in it's entirety, just so we can read it. Barry signed it, congress pushed it thru at his bidding, he has to own it. My shallow opinion is this: There is NOTHING open about this administration. Unless you call leaks like snowden, IRS scandal, PRISM scandal, and the others a fabulous plan by Barry to be open. No, I did not expect previous presidents to be 100% open. Just more than we have now.

Admin doesn't push bills through Congress. Congress writes the bills and votes. This statement is not only shallow, it's inaccurate and shows a continuing lack of understanding of how the US Gov't works. No wonder you don't know what's going on, even when you are told.
There are a plethora of depts. in the Gov't that have their own Directors. If they all simply reported once a day to the Pres, that would be the Pres's whole day every day, with no time to do anything else. So they do NOT report every day to the President. That's not to count the plethora of people in those Depts that do not report every day to their Directors. And down to the office clerks, not everyone reports everything every day or there'd be no time to work for any of them. On a relatively miniscule scale, do you think the CEO of Walmart knows what happens at every store?
So, why don't you answer the question that is most relevant to Benghazi if you claim past Admin were more open.
What are the names of the 53 Embassy personnel that were killed at different US Embassies under Bush? What were the circumstances of their deaths? Who are those people? They died for their country, and we don't even know their names. That's more open? Really?
This Admin has been dumb enough to believe that openness was a good thing, but given the shortage of new scandals and hoopla, I'd say they learned their lesson too.

What details do you know of the 53 Americans killed at different US Embassies under Bush? Got their names even, let alone what happened when they died? Why is it that you even know about Benghazi? Yep some people can see right through him. Is Warren Buffett taking advantage of Dear Leader’s good nature? Or, more likely, is Dear Leader using Buffett’s overtaxed secretary as a way to bleed the capitalist leeches of their ill gotten profits? It’s difficult to be certain, but something has been going on since shortly after Dear Leader’s election in 2009 and the timeline is interesting: January 2009: Barack Obama assumes office. November 2009: Warren Buffett Buys A RAILROAD. Berkshire Hathaway Acquires Burlington Northern Railroad.
August 2011: Getting ready for a wave of coal-plant shutdowns. September 2011: Warren Buffet, his secretary, and fuzzy math: Do the numbers add up? January 2012: Obama rejects Keystone oil pipeline. May 2013: Tank car boom masks dearth of orders for other rail cars - The nation’s railroad tanker cars used to transport oil from Canada to the US can’t be built fast enough. Blockage of the Keystone pipeline by the Obama Administration provides railroads with booming new business. I’m sure Warren is grateful.

Obama makes fresh push for health care reformAll of these articles are from the era from which the ACA was being developed/written/pushed/sold. I am done now. I could put 100 of these up. ACA is Obama's baby as pushed thru congress by him and his socialist colleagues. Claiming the president cannot do that is a sad statement on your knowledge of the actual process.

You mean when you write to your Senator as a constituent because you want them to do something, you WROTE the bill? Really?
Obama can PRESS all he wants, and of course he's got more clout than you or I do...as the titular head of his PARTY. Doesn't mean they will do a darn thing he says, which we've seen over and over again with the budget impasses over the last 4 years leading to Medicare cuts and cuts to all Gov't services and functions. Asking for something and having it done are 2 different things. Presidents cannot write Bills, nor can they vote on them. They only have VETO power after it passes both Chambers.

You mean when you write to your Senator as a constituent because you want them to do something, you WROTE the bill? Really? No, they ignore anything I have to say. You will deny it, but I have been party to the actual process. I do have my written words in California law. Governor's and Presidents ask for things and often get them. Just as with ACA. In the California process it was common for opposition to say "the governor want's this or that". No doubt in my mind the same happens at the federal level. For you to deny this, is to deny the sky is blue. The carbon monoxide in your tobacco smoke has slowed your brain today. All of this aside, he could have veto'd it. He did not. Now it is his bill. Forever named "Obamacare". It's his and his alone. His to ride into the annals of history either on a golden throne or all the way into the sewer.
