The feed motor on my Lortone LS12 croaked. I contacted John at JSGEMS and he is not a Lortone dealer. Anyone know of a good place to buy a new motor? Thanks in advance for any help. Jim

Cheapest n easiest: www.mcmaster.com/#ac-gearmotors/=o5talkOf course Lortone might use different dimensions. Or I just read an old rockhound book that suggest wrapping a string around the allthread and tieing one end to a rock. Of course in your case the saw will have to be on the side of a cliff so if safety isn't an issue go for it! LOL.

Thanks everyone. I could not find the right speed at the cheap places so I had to go to Lortone and find a dealer. There is one here in Wyoming and they are sending the box and motor assembly for the price of just the motor. Someone had ordered it then never picked it up. I got lucky because my switch was getting bad also. I will be back in business in a couple of days. Jim

Here's a link to a guy on Ebay that sells the LS12 motor. The link is to an LS14 powerfeed but he usually has the 12, as well, but appears to not have one at the moment. Might ask him when he'll have another one listed. Might be he has one on hand but just hasn't listed it yet. He's called "bfdgems". C-ya, Rick
