Beautiful! I just read a book "Death Valley '49". The pioneers weren't looking for rocks since they were busy searching out anything to eat and a drop or two of something to drink. When I was reading it, I was thinking what a great opportunity to grab some rocks, except that they were on foot most of the way and had tossed out everything they couldn't carry that would help sustain life. They probably got very tired of looking at rocks and sand.
