Please take a few moments to introduce yourself in our new member section. We don't know you well enough, yet, to send you our hard earned money. I wonder if you have a polished piece of that stone to show us how it looks finished?

I think I joined in 2003 or 2005. Went straight to rock bottom with several loads shipped from Africa. Have some great stuff & had to build a rock shop to hold it all. Stoner has 1st dibs on anything he wants. Moving and it all has to go.

Hi rockyraccoonms, wondering what part of the world are you from? And welcome (again.) I am in MS David. Thank you for the welcome. Gonna be hard to part with my babies. Rockhounders become rock hoarders. Vogesite 7.5 lbs $30 + shipping 8"Wx6"Lx4"H I wouldn't tumble this one. Slab, cab, sphere. Might work in a vibe. Somebody did some awhile back. I think I have a wire wrap on here with a vogesite cab.

Wow long time no see! You can buy with confidence she has been around way longer than me and I been here since 06.She has sold more than most on here have and not one bad sale and really great and hard to get material to boot. What's up Kim getting out of the lapidary business. I went to Woodward ranch a few years back hoping to meet you and you could not make it and have not posted but once or twice since. I will be buying for sure great to see you back BTW. George

Hi again Kim your posting caused me to go looking at old posts and I found this thought I would link it up here for everyone to see forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/15689/workshop-project-gets-started I also seen some old pics of some vogesite made me want that 8.5 lb. chunk so if Stoner dose not claim it I will take it. I started lurking on here when you started working on your shop and enjoyed you building it nicest shop ever lol. George

Hiya Kim,
Great to see you back. Hope all is well.
I will be watching for anything you offer up, and would advise folks here to do the same. Kim is a top-notch human and has great rough. She also is a fantastic cabber and wrapper (I still remember that barbed wire-looking wrap you did on a piece of stefionite!)
Matt

Sorry to hear about your low point. Selling your favorite stones is definitely a low point. Do you have any leopard jasper? I only need a small piece but would buy bigger to help out if you have it. Jim

wow. I have been here three years and a new member with one post selling usually gets hammered. I thought I would step in and be soft and, well, that was a good call! lol
Welcome back Rocky Racoon.
Bill thanks for the link!

Mookaite 7-1/4"Lx6-1/4"Wx4-1/4" 7-1/2 lbs $35 + shipping Has a saw mark in it. Believe me it makes me sad too. Kinda funny that shop link and I said it was starting one long argument. Good I can find humor in it! We have laughed and cried with this divorce. It's all good and we will be fine. Working my butt off now and driving as much as a trucker. This one is sold and shipped.
