Nice cheater !
Cheaters,,,, I was a pipefitter apprentice for about 6 months when a Lithuanian machinist came over and asked me,,,in his idea of the English language,,,, if he could borrow my 10" Rigid pipe wrench,,,"You could borrr-row me that rrrench?".When he brought the wrench back the handle was bent and I went off on him! What the,,,,what did you do put a cheater on my wrench? He says,,,"Cheaterrrr,,,what is cheaterrrr?"I said a pipe on the handle,,,he says,,"No,,, I use it mine hand"! I may have been a dumb apprentice but I was not dumb enough to argue with a guy who bent the handle on a Rigid 10" pipe wrench with his hands! LOL When I showed the wrench to a few of the fitters they all laughed,,,one of the fitters told me the Lithuanians nick name was Superman,,,and justly so! LOL
No cheaters for Superman! LOL connrock

Maybe a quiet trip to the store to buy a new one is the best approach. Thanks for the warning though. Europeans can be so low key and unassuming. Gotta like em.
If i owned that wrench it would be on display and the experience would cheer me up every time i looked at it.
He is the true 'Iron Man' LOL.

LOL connrock We had an electrician like that we called "Big Ferg." Trying to bend 1" rigid with a "hicky" is hard to do. We asked Big Ferg to use a 1 1/4" hicky on 1 1/4" rigid. After he snapped the third handle off, we ordered an electric power bender.

All those strong guys have their place. What bothers me is when the guy weighs 125 pounds and can do those amazing feats of strength. That is a no win. And a lot of small dudes are like that.

I am an electrician by trade and 95% of that was in industrial. Bending 1 inch rigid pipe is a real challenge. While one would think only strength would count technique is actually the ticket. Just as James says its the 125 pound wonders that make me wonder how the hell they do it. When I was apprenticing I had a journeyman named Delmar, he was about 150 pounds and could handle any rigid like you would not believe. I was amazed, it was strength to a point but technique was the real winner.
Thank the gods for Teck cable now LOL

We had a bully that used to pound on everyone after work that didn't run from him or have a "resolver."
Too bad it didn't happen a long time earlier, but one day he cornered a little guy in a basement. The little guy kept telling him "Knock it off or I'll lose my temper!"
The bully thought that was hilarious . . . until the little guy couldn't take it n'more. When the bully got out of the hospital he took early medical retirement.
