Iv'e seen a lot of obsidian, But never any thing like those, Where did you find them ? Would like to see more of them. Are you going to cut them or just leave them as they are. Keep us posted.

Yep, the old "dried prunes". Used to deer hunt with my pop up at Davis Creek, Plum Creek campground in northern Commiefornia. The road and creek there are solid with dried prunes. Usually the obsidian inside is of very good quality. Still have some n my rockpile I collected back then. Used to really piss my pop off that I was filling my pocket with nodules instead of hunting deersies *L*.....Mel

Now for the big question….Are they for sale? And if so, what is the price structure? They do look pretty cool can't wait to see what is inside.

Fossilman: The prunes seem to form in kind of a perlite ash Kind of like apache tears except not smooth on the outside. Don't think they are related closely to t-eggs except both form in kind of a similar deposit....Mel

Hi David, looks like alot of people have them. i dont have a large quanity yet,so i guess i really dont have any for sale...if someone else wants to jump in here and sell you some thats cool with me...Me being a Newbie it might be a big gamble, but i'd trade you one, and some rainbow if your interested..
