I need to clean the butt end cuts from out behind my rock saw. Much of it would cut a few slabs for some great cabs using a slab grabber and or a ten inch saw. The rest should tumble. I have a ton of nice Birdseye with pieces up to fifty pounds. $40 MFRB shipped.

just trying to be funny!! <epic fail!!>
The thought of having to clean out a bunch of end cuts, butts, and having pieces up to 50 pounds, to me, is funny.... I wouldn't consider a 50 pound piece, an end cut/butt... sorry guess I failed at the humor aspect... will remove the posting and leave this thread for serious people.

Hey Don, you have any pictures of the Birdseye that you could post? I would be mostly interested in pieces in the 15ish pound range. What are you asking per pound? Thank you.

Specifically, I'm looking for more of this - Is this what you are selling?

Thank you Don. That material looks quite a bit darker than what I'm looking for. Do you, by chance, have a picture of this slabbed or faced?

Thank you Don. That material looks quite a bit darker than what I'm looking for. Do you, by chance, have a picture of this slabbed or faced? This is the end cut from one I cut a few years ago, It was about six inches long and I got several slabs from it. I sold several on eBay for twenty each. If you want to see the cabs from this rock look at my post in Creations. Don

Thank you Donnie, that's a good looking cab as is the one that Don posted in the Creations section.
I haven't made the time to make cabs even though I have a shop set up to do so. Mostly, I collect display specimens. I was looking for another piece like I posted on page one to face and polish up one side on a vibrating lap. But, I think this darker Birdseye might turn out pretty nicely too, now that I've seen the cabs it can produce. Anyone tried tumbling this stuff or does it have too many fractures in it?
Don, that piece you have on the scale above at 12 pounds would suit me, but do you have any in the 15 to 20 pound range that could ship easily? I'll leave it up to your judgement as you can look over what you have and know that I want to face one side - using a 24" saw. Please see what you can come up with keeping it under 100 bucks and PM me a Paypal address at your convenience - no hurry. Thank you, Bob
