It's been a while since I posted any cab images. I cut these some time back from the famous Badger Pocket opalized sycamore wood from Washington State. This material shows intricate details of the original wood grain about as well as petrified wood I've ever seen. The photographs were made in natural daylight with my trusty Nikon Coolpix 4500. Thanks for looking.

WOW! Those are gorgeous!! I really like the round one! Is that a material I can get my hands on or is it one of those rare one?

Thanks Donnie. It's getting pretty scarce. A friend in Canada just picked some up but I don't know how much he paid. I know some is still available on EBay from time to time. My material was a gift years ago from a good friend.

Those are cool looking!
I have a few pieces of this wood but I would probably have to cut it down to size as most of the pieces are in the 50-100 lb range.

Stellar wood and superb cutting. If anybody has slabs, I'll buy 'em.

Eye catching patterns and great symmetry. That fade into the stone is cool.
