I think Lapis is an awesome stone. It is just so expensive. Where is that pieces origin and was that picture taken dry? Are there any visible fractures in it?

Not sure of the location. I bought 2 slabs years ago and cut one and this on has been setting on a shelf. The picture was dry, no fractures that I see, the on I cut I had no problems but with any stone you have a chance of some thing that you dont see. The very top is heavy with Pyrite. The price is what I paid for it 6-8 years ago plus shipping. Keith
