Anyone know where to buy spritzer pumps? Or will a cheap fountain pump from harbor freight do the job? Thanks!

generally spritzer pumps push air into a brass head that spritzes when submerged. fountain pups push water, and most would be way to many gallons per minute.
I also think that the approach offers too much chance of cross-contamination.

The argument is air pushing water from a sump under the wheels can carry rock particle and other contaminants onto the wheels. I've never had it happen with my Genie and all DP's units use a air pump under wheel wetting system. Lots of happy users out there and much less messy than overhead water systems.

If you change water out, and clean trays regular, I think problem is small.
I did use spritzer on my Lortone 6-wheel before I setup drip system. Once, I had trouble on 1200 grit, and decided that my water had too much 220 is crud in it.
Anyway, that unit is pre-drilled for valves on top, and I like the fresh water running over my work. I worry less about water mist having silica particulate in it because I have waste-water running down into a collection bucket.

You will need a Aquarium air pump for the spritzer

Thanks. After much unsuccessful searching on the internet, I found one for $9 at Harbor freight.

I didn't think Harbor Freight carries small (aquarium style) air pumps. Are you talking about the 92 GPH Miniature Submersible Fountain Pump they sell for $8.99?
I guess I am not clear now if you are asking about spritzer, or you are trying to use a pump to deliver water to the wheel.

yep, they work just like a spritzer, when set under the wheel and on low, they sporadically spritz water up onto the wheel. The smallest one they have fits my unit OK.
Thanks!
