Here is a pic of the second slab off the saw. It is about 3 inches by 6 inches and 1/4 " thick. It isn't the highest quality I have seen and there are some fracture lines and some dirty spots to work around, but with careful planning there are lots of good cabs to be had. I tried to show the glitter in it, but it is very cloudy and rainy today so pics aren't all that great. I also tried using a flashlight to show it is translucent, but they didn't come out too good due to my crappy camera Edit: I have no idea of what the slabs are worth, so any input is appreciated.

I got an email from flickr that you have to have a yahoo account from now on to use it. Yeah. That's not gonna happen. I have a bunch of stuff up there, but I guess I'll be taking it down or they will.

Yes, we can see them. I think he was making a comparison of the picture quality. Flickr versus PB edit- plus he can't link over to a larger image, download and tweak.

Scott just needs his evening whine I don't care for PB much, but tried Flickr and didn't like it either. I wish we could upload pics to here directly from the 'puter like most other websites allow

radio - I wanted to zoom in and look at your stone more closely. I have a thing for amazonite... hehe flickr has changed greatly since yahoo bought them. I think it's better. Maybe go back to your flickr account and have a look see. They even generate the bb code for you. Tela nailed it, as always!

this particular case the original is 800 x 450 so even flickr cannot allow a veiwer to see more detail. I upload the original from the camera and that allows options for the viewer.

no, it's not that important.
I just upload full sized images because I am too lazy. I just let flickr do the re-sizing for me.

Morefield Mine will hopefully be reopened this fall. If you haven't been there before, I highly recommend it. I used to live about 30 minutes away and now that I'm 1.5 hours away, haven't been there in some time. I've got some really nice small pieces of amazonite from the tailings pile. I've also found some nice minerals like purple and white prosopite there.
