Very nice display. I could guess at which turquoise is fake but would probably be wrong. There are two cabs just to the right of the big chunk of Sleeping Beauty that are dyed Howlite and the cab on the dop stick is nothing more than epoxy with dye. It smells terrible when cutting! The ring closest to the center has one of the dyed Howlite cabs set in some very nice silver to show as an example to customers that one can easily be fooled . The Bear paw ring on the right is old stock Morenci Turquoise with Pyrite and most folks think it is fake instead of the Howlite

I have resin and turquoise dye. Maybe I'll make my own using resin molds. Never thought to make my own but the more I think about it a lot of pieces I see on e bay from China and other places are probably hand made.

There is most likely more fake Turquoise on the market than there is real. Mix your resin and dye, pour it into a box or brick mold, let it cure, then slab it 1/4" thick. I've never seen anyone pour a cab in a mold, but don't see why it couldn't be done.
