3 bills for the poly arbor is a decent price, too bad I'm so far away.

First time I've seen a Poly arbor hung upside down.
Lee, good Poly arbors show up on ebay from time to time for much less than 3 bills. I got one last week with motor, a good expando drum and a grinding wheel for just over a hundred & a half.

Well, gee thanks guys. You've pretty much killed his chance of anyone from this board even contacting him to buy his deceased grandfathers items. I'm sure he would have negotiated, he had to start somewhere.... And not everyone has the ability or skills to fix things up like you guys do....

Lortone or someone made a unit with the hanging arbor. A friend has one and swears by them. Easy to grind near bottom of wheels. $300 with hood/pan in good shape would be fair retail price. I get $150 for bare arbors no hood/pan when I can find them.

Phil, the one I was showing from the local Craigslist ad was to show that what your freind is selling is a DEAL. A bare Poly arbor like what Don is talking about is dime a dozen, but the complete plug-n-play setup like that is sweet, we have one that is not for sale. We also have a lortone Max Pro which is what John is talking about, not nearly as nice as the Poly unit.

I can't believe that nobody jumped in with the minimum bid on this. I believe this was a Beacon Star arbor with a rock shops decal on it. Danged good arbor. If I'd known that nobody was going to bid, I'd of grabbed it for that price.

Somebody got it because the seller ended the auction early.

Yep. I've heard that everything has been sold. Good for him!
