Great thread Dave. I know it's old and has only been brought up due to the PB issue. I learned about fulgerites in wildland fire investigation classes. Never had seen them before. As an aside, lightning isn't the only source for them. Downed wires can cause the same. Thanks for sharing nonetheless.
