totally agree with you! Lambert industries is exactly who I sent my stones to be cut by... I really wanted to get em cut here but when I found out the prices...its a little prohibitive
Good luck. Apparently they are very reputable. I envy you. Sounds like a great idea(and investment).
[/p]
Thank you Jamesp.... I"ll make sure to post some pics when I get them back

That is really cool. I have some peridot I want to try.
What grit did you start with?
Can't wait to see Lambert's work. Personal experience tells some precision cutters will trade cutting for material.
I believe sunstone is a form of feldspar.

Thanks Shotgunner! the 1st batch I tumbled I used 80 grit and lost quite a bit of material lol....so on this batch I started them off at 220 and kept them just a bit longer in my rotary...10 days to be exact...with plastic pellets....it worked for me...rounded the crystals nicely...still lost material but not too bad...

Those are cool. I've never heard of sunstone. Does it have another name? Can you show what the rough looks like? Jugglerguy sunstone is also called yellow labradorite, they are a feldspar but are mostly just called sunstone
