There have been a few threads that mentioned where these originally were used. But I have failed to put that in the important part of my memory. What was their original application?

I believe the motors are surplus from an IBM copy machine. If you find a source, let us know because those motors are getting to be hard to find.

Yep, John Rowland, the counterfeit Chinese highland park saw guy bought them all up to corner the market. I'm sure a shop in China will be duplicating them in their usual slipshod fall apart way so he can continue towards his goal of running more US businesses out of business. Nice guy.

A few years back, I decided 1 sphere machine was just not enough. bought a couple sets of these motors, started building... got busy with life, moved and all they have all been sitting collecting dust. Now I am contenplating another temporary move to a smaller place and want to downsize a bit If someone is interested I am willing to part with these motors and I can get around to listing them. I'm in Utah. 8o1 36o o26l
