Nice try, great atmospherics, for sure.
Speaking of atmospheric rain songs....
Actually, this was never an actual song. He used it to warm up, people liked it, so he included it in some bonus tracks.

Good advice! Dry socks and shoes!
rockpickerforever Last week it was in the 80's. Last night the 20's and this morning it was snowing with some accumulation. Do you think there is a song for weather that messed up? Tela, I've been looking for you, this is the best I've come up with so far. Maybe more of a commentary on weather forecasters, than just plain old crazy weather. Recorded in the UK, waaaaay back in 1934. The lyrics fit the bill, the music, ehhh, sounds kinda like what they'd listen to back in 1934, lol.
CRAZY WEATHER
(Maurice Sigler, Al Goodhart, Al Hoffman)
Eight o’clock, rain, ten o’clock, snow Twelve o’clock, balmy breezes blow Oh weather man, make up your mind Rain if you must, got to have rain That’s not the reason I complain Your system is all wrong I find
Crazy weather, when will we get together Tell me when can I depend on you First it’s cloudy, then mister sun says, "howdy" Never know just what you’re gonna do For instance, last night I had a date with my sweetheart In Lovers’ Lane You disappointed me and my sweetheart You made it rain Crazy weather, come on let’s get together Give me a break and help me to make her mine
(As recorded by: Billy Cotton & His Band V. Chips Chippendall Recorded 29th December 1934)
Here's the link if you really want to hear it:

Wow! That is amazing! How in the world did you find that? Great catch. Thanks. Today it is in the 60's. A little better.

Glad you've warmed a little bit. For now, anyway.

We used to 'decipher' Springsteen's songs on the Greetings from Asbury album.

Okay folks, this is a cover. There are some sound problems...but I think it's an awesome cover by college students. (only the singer is "pro")
