Saturday morning finds from the Santa Clara rock sale. Thank you Pat for braving the hordes of rocklovers eager to get at those $0.50/lb beauties! It's too bad that the lapidary shop is closed for another couple months for equipment merging and wiring/plumbing work. Whatever shall I do with myself? Guess I'll just have hold onto my precioussss. As always, mystery IDs and corrections are always welcome! $5 haul Montanas Some plumes and other agates. Most are Graveyard Point. Top red "flames" and bottom darker brown ones are mysteryAmazonite, green opal. Left and top ones are a mysteryMysterrrrryyyGreen stripe mysteries. The darker green stripes are translucent. Assorted rhyolites. The bottom green-freckled one is a mysteryMystery with marcasite So many beautiful grain patterns. I am in love with rainbow wood. Mostly AZ? Can't wait to get this egg cabbed! Black and white egg Butterfly egg Butterflied egg Black ribbon egg Green moss egg Egg in progress Double waterline What do you see in this egg? 2/3 of my friends said "turtle"...

marinedad, I have a couple trimmed and dopped, but since the shop is closed I haven't been able to work on any cabs for a month, and probably not for a couple more months.
