I should also note that pepper spray doesn't always work... and your supposed to yell at em to make them go away... sometimes these methods don't always worth ether..

Reminds me of killing chickens. They can run around for a while after their heads are chopped off. Or so I've heard! Truth. When we butchered them growing up we chopped the heads off and stuffed them neck down into funnel like dohickeys to bleed out, but someone always had to "accidentally" let one loose to hop about and get us all bloody.

I'd rather have bears than moose... in Alaska there are more moose attacks than bear attacks. as far as bear spray it is a deterrent.. but guns are usually better for the fact of actual defense. And on the note of bears I took this photo on one of my trips...
