I needed some material to fuel my new wire wrapping venture, so Tommy 's cabs came at just the right time. I ran these through the Lot O with some other pieces I shaped up on the tile saw.
And the ones I plan to practice on.
The rest were tumbles of the regular kind.
I like the see through window at the top of this one.
Tommy, you asked about undercutting on Graveyard Point, or other plume. This is the only piece I ran through this time, other than your cab, and it came out pretty well. There was a little bit around the plumes, but I'm happy enough with it.
And just so I don't disappoint anyone who came here looking for something completely different, based on the thread title...

It does have an inclusions. I don't know what it is, but it made a cool half and half look. I'll get a pic of it later.

All of those are awesome. My favorites are the amethyst sage can and the 2nd and 6th one in the top row of the third picture just to name a few.

Beautiful!
I presume you're either going light or skipping the coarse tumble. I'd be interested in what grades you run as I have a cut cabs that need to be tumble finished.

Thanks, the cabs Tommy sent me went in the Lot O. Sic 120/220, 500 AO, 1,000 AO, polish. The ones I shape on the tile saw go through a rotary stage first, usually.

I was concerned the rhodolite was going to undercut with tumbling.
