Has anyone come across an Agate Master facetting machine? I'm interested in one near listed nearby.
It is an 8" Australian machine.
Any tips on checks to do with facetting machines in general would also be welcome. The vendor has offered to demo and includes some discs up to pre-polish at 8um.

Thanks ... they're asking similar $/ £ to the UK vendor, which seems like good value given import tax / transport.
The one I'm looking at has replaced bearings and up-graded motor and programmable controller.
They've examples of cut stone and reason for selling is upgrading to expensive kit.

Kind of a strange, kwirky name for a faceting machine. I don't know anyone who facets agate. Made that statement and then I found this www.crystalvaults.com/130041 I think it would look better as a cab though.

Yeah it's in the same family as Gem Master etc ... although I occasionally facet agate, I do it by hand and eye
