Many years half of them are out on bond for their games. This year we finally have law abiding citizens on the team.
James, at least you HAVE a team, lol. The players on the Chargers totally appreciated their loyal fan base, that has stuck with them through thick and thin. Spanos, the greedy team owner, spit (figuratively) on the fans. They had been playing here since 1966, Spanos did not get his way, and whisked them off to LA. The people in LA don't want them either, lol.
The Raiders were going to go to Vegas, but that fell through. Maybe the Raiders will move to San Diego? Stranger things have happened. Heck, Raiders already have a huge fan base here. When the Raiders would come down and play the Chargersin San Diego, their fans would way outnumber the local fans.

I do not think I saw Falcons 17 to Patriots 10 anywhere, so that's my guess.

May the richest team win ? Patriot's owner Robert Kraft #6 at 4 billion Falcon's owner Arthur Blank #8 at 2.4 billion The Falcons have been the Atlanta team for a long time. Don't remember any time the franchise was going to sell to another city. Good thing. It's a shame the California franchises are being sold. Hope the Patriot's bring a lot of stretchers to the game; Green Bay had to rent extras. |

Bitches wanted to evict many people and businesses in downtown SD to have the city build them a free stadium. Public transportation is already maxed out. In a town in which the fans DGAF pro sports. I went to the chargers broncos game this year and the stadium was full of orange jerseys. A broncos home game in San Diego. The team{auto-correct: MOV files not allowed}ed and is utilising a stadium that holds 27,000. They won't sell out. Had the city capitulated, it would have been a multi billion dollar boondoggle. |

Hell @shotgunner. They have been tearing stadiums down and rebuilding new ones left and right here in Atlanta for the past 10 years.
Probably the biggest construction projects in this city.
They are building one right in the center of the maximized traffic zone of North Atlanta as we type.
We always plan out trips thru the city based on games commencing at the downtown stadium.
This new stadium will present serious traffic issues for the well-to-do north siders.
So glad I moved to the white trash south side 35 years ago.

Exactly right, Scott. Spanos wanted the tax payers to pick up a lot of the tab, and have it built in a totally inappropriate location. It was even put on the ballot to see how the people felt, they turned it down! Many in the county didn't even get to vote on this, including me, only residents of the city of San Diego. Kinda makes residents of other cities in the county, as well as those living in unincorporated cities feel like ugly stepchildren, lol. "You don't matter!" This despite the fact that the fan base was not restricted to just the city.
Spanos wanted to leave, I said go, don't let the door hit you on the way out. I kind of feel sorry for the players, though, they are like pawns, children of a divorce. They got stuck in the middle.
I really hope Spanos loses his ass on this kneejerk/spiteful decision he made. I agree, they probably won't be able to sell out even in a small venue up there. They are not wanted, outcasts, lol!
