Makes me want to glue down my double Lot O and only use my barrels for coarse and rounding them up. Looking forward to see that vibe polish on some of my stuff. Great steal on the Lot O, 200 bucks cheaper than mine. I stuck it to 4 solid half blocks using 3M double sided tape. So far so good. Impossible to move easily though, being 120 pounds. I didn't really plan on buying a vibe, especially the double wide. When it came up as I was searching clist one day at lunch it was too good to pass up. Came with a 1lb grit kit from the rock shed, ceramics, a bunch of picture jasper, a bunch of black petrified wood, and some white quartz from a beach in England.

Haha! From your first post I thought you had done that in 24 hours! I was thinking I'm missing out on something here... since January in the rotary ... LoL!

It was OK. Lots of pits and fractures. Gets shiny. It has been going in coarse since January. I bought I think 3 pounds and just now am finishing the last of it. I got some offical ocean jasper from rocktumbler.com that was underwhelming. No real nice pieces. If I was going to buy more, I think I would try the tumbling or medium grade from this page thegemshop.com/collections/rough-rock-1?page=10 . I really appreciate the suggestion. I too had gotten some ocean jasper from rocktumbler.com and like you I didn't get any good pieces. The nicer looking ones were tiny fragments. It looked like some left over scraps that didn't really have any interesting color or orbs... I did just receive some of the medium grade material from thegemshop.com and it looks pretty much exactly like the sea jasper that therockshed.com is selling. The color and patterns look exactly the same, just the pieces are a little bigger. I guess that is why they still have it in stock. Still looking for some nice material but starting to accept that there just isn't any around anymore.

Well, all this talk about how good the Lot-o is and seeing nice shiny rocks that insearchofspace is showing, I had to buy one too. Hope my rocks come out as nice as them there rocks.

Great job on the polish and nice score on the lot-o! Is that lake superior agate?

Great job on the polish and nice score on the lot-o! Is that lake superior agate? All the little stuff is. Most of the bigger agates are bahia agate from the rock shed.
