Most honorable mention of course goes to Lynn - zarguy - who had five of his six guesses within ten miles of the actual - only to be edged out by three tenths of a mile by... victor1941 - closest to the actual 1378.9 without going over! Congrats Victor! Please let me know via PM or here in this thread if you would prefer the slab of Burro Creek prize OR a box of hand picked tumbling rough. Thanks everyone for playing

Thanks for the game, Tommy, and congratulations to the winner and the runners-up. Join the club, Pat. Only one winner (Yay, Victor!), the rest of us are just also-rans. Runners-up, bah! That's just Tommy putting some spin on it! Nothing to lose by playing. Will have to rethink that should he start charging an entry fee!

Thanks again Tommy for the contest. We are all winners just by having the opportunity to be members of this group. Since I collect picture rocks and plumes you cam be sure that the Burro creek slab will be appreciated. Looking forward to the next contest.

I hope you don't mind Victor but the "slab" kind of turned into three slabs... Not sure how that happened

I don't need to guess. I was there the day after you left. I saw your piles you left behind high grading in the field. I did well on my hunting. Concentrated on breciated this year.
