I think ya did good Buddy. Thats a nice choice. What kind of glue did you use? I still have not been successful at getting a hole in a stone. So you're way ahead of me here. All the diamond just wears off the bit and that's the end of it. I can put dents in rocks with a drill bit ;D

i cant remeber where i read it but it said not to fast on the drill you guys are useing those super fast dremels and it was saying a second to long and it heats the bit and melts off the diamonds my top speed with my hand drill is like 1200 rpms i havnt had a prob except for trying to rush or just pushing too hard on bit but thats my fault and just like gettin usta waitin for the rocks to shape well befor moving from 60/90 im startin to get the hang of not rushing because i only break a bit im not sayin fast dont work but it makes sence the faster you go the faster the bit heats up and whats holding the diamonds to bit melts----i just found it its in the front of daniel lopaki-s catalog
it says you are better off running the drill a little slower then super high speed, my logic is if you run the drill at excessive speed the water has much less chance to stay in the hole and the diamond gets very hot very fast thus causing the nickle plating to let go seeya---john
the glue im useing is called E6000 clear craft adhesive

John, not a thing wrong with that wirewrap! I like it. My first try turned out pretty good, but since then I have wrapped and unwrapped and started over again and again. Seems like in my case, the first time was a charm and it's been downhill ever since. llana

The pendants turned out great. On the drill bit you said you used diamond, is that similar to what I have which is Diamond embedded Titanium bit? Tami
