I converted mine to a clogged belt. 3D printer supplies are cheap.

The replacement belts that I ordered from Ebay have not lasted all that well. The best was 4 weeks, and the worst was 2. I've used 3 so far. I ordered the vacuume cleaner belts from Amazon that I referred to in my earlier post. They are identical to the one that lasted for years of cartridge tumbling. They fit slightly more snug than the Model B replacements, and are much thicker in diameter. I saw a very slight increase in RPM due to snugness, and am sure (or at least hoping) to get much longer wear by the looks of things.. for a little over $5 per 3 pack, it's a no brainer!

I used to work at an industrial supply shop and we were able to either get people o-rings of varying sizes and thickness or more often make them a belt. There is belting material out there, the issue is finding someone local that makes them. linkThey basically size and cut then have to melt the edges together and to make a continuous belt.

I looked into buying lengths of belt, and making my own. All that I needed to do was make a jig for the weld alignment, which isn't hard. The vacuume cleaner belts are still the best cost option especially since I got many years from just one of those belts.
