The new tile saw cut this brick into 25 slabs in 20 minutes. Best glass processing tool yet. The rock saw would have taken 6 hours. At least 3 cuts thru an 8 inch alum ox grinding wheel is required about every 10 slabs to keep blade cutting well. What could possibly be on the inside ? It is nothing like you would ever imagine. How about a hint, all 25 slabs in order of cut:

hummingbirdstones MsAli I'll send you each one. In my trades, the knapper's always ask if they should knap them sharp or knap them dull. I ask them to do sharp. But it only takes a few seconds to dull them. Y'all don't shave ? Let me send some photo's if you want me to send them. Or I will get Willie's contact info if you want to commission him. He'd be flattered big time. If none of these suit you then you can contact Willie. He does rock points too. I get them in on trades with a bunch of other folks so I am getting quit a collection. jamesp you are so good to us! I LOVE the one below the multicolored striped one on the right. Thank you! Please give us Willie's contact info because if I can make a really cool necklace out of it, I'll be needing more to sell eventually. This one Robin ?

You pick one too Beth. Beth, Robin and Alison, my treasured glass color consultants. Or you can deal direct with the man. Thank you so much. How long are the ones in the bottom photo, bottom row? I would like something rather simple. Thinking the first of the two purple/green ones. The 2nd in bottom row purple green is 2 1/4", the 4th in bottom row is 1 1/2" Beth.

Never thought this pot melt would have done this much layering. Had pot to high above mold, the fall distance caused bubbles. Must shorten walls of mold to reduce bubbles.

Found a soft light Led skylight panel for back lighting. Has a durable Formica like surface. A bit big at 24" x 24". Light consistant accrocs entire area. 40 watts Sorta like the doctor uses for x-rays. Can display a 25 slab brick on it. Home Depot purchase. Great purchase! I wish they had LED when I was doing stained glass way back when. My home made lightbox is huge, heavy (made out of wood) with a frosted glass top that cost me a bunch to have done back then.
