You've gotten really good on these! My favorite of the last 3 is the blue Jim. My guess is that the first stone is a tigereye, cut diagonally. I've cut some tigereye this way - you don't get the chatoyancy, but it makes for a nice effect. Thank you! The blue Jim is even better in person. Cant capture when the light hits it. I have lots of tiger eye and this seems more like a jasper to me ? I have to get a better picture. This one isnt picking up the orange in it very well

With the stripe/band + color, my first thought was carnelian agate. Can be quite sleepy/hazy and definitely can be that butterscotch color.

jamesp glass that was knapped by Willie So happy with how it came out. I can see why you are proud of yourself. Others will be proud of this fine creation too. It's killer(as the knapper's always say because points can kill I suppose. Please let me post it on my knapping group p-l-e-a-s-e, I'm begging here. If OK, what is your contact info ? Should be safe on the knap group, doubt there will be many copy catters but one never knows.

I am working on my Willie point today. Took a while to determine the best way to enhance the colors. Cant wait to see it I've got some more coming from him. We sent messages back and forth, but no deal as of yet. Hoping my creation makes this possible. It will take most of today, on and off, to complete. I was able to make it not a lethal weapon, lol.

Don't know how I missed this update. You did a great job on that point, Ali! I've been so blasted busy and battling the crud for the last week that I haven't had a chance to play with mine yet. Hopefully I'll get a chance soon.
