beefjello what an awesome idea! I never noticed that they looked like that. I'll have to go out and see if any of my snapdragons still have any dead pods hanging around.
MsAli I'll send you some with the bamboo berries if there's any out there and you can try it.
ETA: Bummer. The snapdragon pods are toast. Probably that snow we had a while back and the freezes did them in. Once they start flowering again I'll pluck some to send to you.
Yeah! My dad is greedy with his flowers and doesnt want to give up his seed pods

Yeah! My dad is greedy with his flowers and doesnt want to give up his seed pods Snapdragons grow like weeds and self seed. Mine are actually even still kind of green in places. Don't know how that happened, but they're pretty hardy. After the first flowers die off, I'll pluck some for you. I'm not stingy with snapdragons, they come up all over and make gobs of seeds in those little pods. They look like sesame poppy seeds but tinier.

I like them all, but the rings in the fourth picture are super-cool. I love the design.

One of my proudest pieces. I got some small rough and I mean SMALL Ethiopian opal to try. (I am hooked bad on opal). They really need to be sealed otherwise I found out they crack in the bath This is the 1st one that came out and I couldnt be happier Now I need to save up again and try some different ones.

Emeralds? The first one is my favorite - looks like the stones were always encased in a copper matrix; just gorgeous.

Great work on all of them! Love watching how you just keep getting better and better! Opal has always been my favorite precious gemstone, I could get lost looking into them for hours if I let myself. Thanks for sharing!

They are actually green garnets and are just unbelievably gorgeous! The 1st ring is raw green garnet with a raw topaz Raw emeralds are next on my wish list though as is about 10 other I want to try
