Kids. Have you ever tried to give a kid advice and they act like you are from the stone age and don't know a thing? Well, my grandson just graduated and he is looking to enter the job market. DH and I gave him lots of advice, which might have gone in one ear and out the other. One such sage point was that the early bird gets the worm. How can that possibly be? He endeavored to get up at his leisure and hit the pavement. Uh, no. Grandma roused him at 8 and kicked him out at 9. He arrived at said business first thing and was met with a guy who was desperate to hire someone. So, he beat out the others and has a second interview tomorrow. He also showed up with HVAC certificates and licenses in hand. They were impressed to say the least and Grandma is looking better- though old, as she is. LOL!

Good job, Tela! You taught him a valuable lesson that he will remember but may not acknowledge for a few years yet.
