Ewww... barf. I cannot stand green olives. I love plain black olives however. More for the rest of us! I like black olives, also. We go through several cans a week. A staple on Mexican food. Have never figured out why some people don't like avocados, either I can eat an avocado like an apple. Good stuff and so good for you!

I haven't had jalapeno stuffed- haven't seen it. I like the flavor of jalapenos, but I don't like the heat, so I would do like Jean rockpickerforever and stuff them myself with seedless jalapeno.

I love them, especially on my pizza. The olive itself has a light bitter taste and the pickle solutions provides sour and salty.

I love olives, black & green. My wife hates them. At Christmas time I'm hard to buy for, so I always ask for stuff that I can consume. Olives from Costco are typical gifts for me. I've had their Garlic stuffed olives, but the garlic is too crunchy. I'd rather have it melt in my mouth like it does when cooked in a pork roast. I'm sure someday I'll find a garlic stuffed olive that I like.
For you Bay Area folks: I remember the olive guys giving out free samples of huge green olives at the Berryessa Flea Market in San Jose. I always made extra passes through the produce/food section so I could get an extra or two! Lynn

I like olives alot, but my favorite are Tassos Double Stuffed Greek Olives with jalapeno and garlic - used to get them at Costco. But, not just at any Costco. Found them in San Diego and learned they were being sold in the San Diego/AZ regions. They did not sell them at our nearby stores.
So, whenever I would go to my son's baseball games when he was in college, I'd pick some up. Since he graduated, we pick them up on spot trips to AZ. We have not looked to see if they are in Las Vegas.
I'm on our last jar now. When I run out, I'll be finding an excuse for a road trip.

I used to love green olives, but only with gin martinis. Now that I no longer drink martinis or anything else alcoholic, I've become addicted to the jalapeno-stuffed green olives from Trader Joe's. They're very reasonably priced too.

Green, black, Greek... All are staples in my pantry. I add the green olives to pickled veggie mix I make. It is a combo of cauliflower, carrots, broccoli, peppers, brussel sprouts and mushrooms. Processed in canner with appropriate spices.
Some of my stuffed specialties: Greek and feta. Green and garlic (replace pimento). Stuff black with mozza cheese. Greek and dates. Green stuffed with a small piece of any pickled veggies. I have also been known to include jumbo green olives in grill skewers of pork, ham, pineapple, carrots and mushrooms. Basted with a sweet/sour sauce. Ends up with a caramelized coating of goodness.

I like the occasional pimento stuffed green or Thanksgiving day black olive. Not big into the pungent cheese stuffed pucker olives. Christa is though, she just picked up this pickled pack this past weekend.. These are the pickley things I like..

carrots in that vinegary jalapenos marinade is good too
I KNOW what you mean, mohs! That stuff is delish! Actually, if you are fortunate enough, you can get the Herdez Jalapenos "Whole in Escabeche." Which means with pickled carrots and onions. That is what the can I have is, just couldn't find an image of such online. It is produced in Mexico, and distributed by Megamex Foods, in Orange, CA. Uh oh, the label on the can says, "Partially produced with Genetic Engineering." I better quit reading labels now, lol.
Or, you can get Mrs. Klein's So Hot Mix and get the cauliflower, too. One way to eat your veggies.
Hi jean I saw a 26 ounce can of the Jalapeno’s ‘Whole in Escabeche’ The product was by Goya I’ve never tried that brand ...

Goya is okay, mohs, but Herdez is the best! Getting harder to find, I will buy several if I happen to run across them.
