This sold quick. Shoulda put a higher price on it. It wasn't in my shop more than an hour. Come to think of it.... maybe I shoulda kept it. Richterite sugilite even has some manganese plumes on the bottom left side.

It's a beauty, Tela. What a gorgeous cab! Of course, we have come to expect no less from you.

Dang, Tela! Gorgeous -- you should have kept it. Where the hell do you get the Richterite from? I've looked for it and never see any.

I love those reminders that some parts of us never grow up. Even as rational adults we still want something more when somebody else wants it too! Beautiful work rockjunquie, but letting it go was the right thing to do - No other validation would have been as convincing.

I said I was lucky. The rough slab was really ugly, but cabbed up it was quite nice. It had a large area of bustamite and sugilite, too. That won't happen again.

Beautiful work rockjunquie , but letting it go was the right thing to do - No other validation would have been as convincing. Very interesting. It was nice to know that something I made sold so quickly for a good price. Otherwise, it would have sat in a case. If I look around, I can probably find the little bits leftover and make something for myself.

Guess I'm going to have to troll Ebay until I find me a piece. I've been looking for years now.

I hear that... from what I've seen at the shows out here in California, that was a bargain. You could have easily paid $50-$60 for a piece that nice but too small to make that cab.

Gorgeous cab! Did you sell it wrapped? If so, any pictures? Just curious.
