Pretty sure this is a rotary lap. Anybody know anything about it? It is part of a craigslist estate listing and I would like to know before I make my offer. Could also be a vibrating lap but not one I have seen before. Thanks Chuck

I'm guessing with the grooves and the bumper and the side walls on the pan that' it's actually a vibratory lap. You should purchase it so you can figure out a killer recipe for us all

I have just never seen that base style before. I have a Lortone vibe lap but I have never been a fan of the sport. Too much babysitting and attaching weight blocks etc.... Chuck

Yeah, I would agree a vibe unit. What intrigues me more is the trim saw behind it, nice look to it.

Yeah, I would agree a vibe unit. What intrigues me more is the trim saw behind it, nice look to it. The trim saw is an 8" Gemlap cast aluminum body saw. I have bought and sold 6-7 them and also have one in my shop. Great saws from a local company here back in the 70's. This is one of the ones I have sold. You sure would not find a trim saw built like this nowadays. Chuck
