Couldn’t connect to the Internet Friday. Called my provider and they submitted a repair ticket . Saturday evening the Internet reconnected. A telephone utility representative came to the house to inform me of that. He told me that it was loose cable in my DSL connection in the box down at the end of the street. Sunday evening my internet connection went out again. So I re-called the provider and they submitted another repair ticket. These repair tickets take 24 hours before someone responds. I want my Internet and I want it NOW! Ha ha So I took matters in my own foot. I walked down to the end of the street and kicked the box! Lo and behold my internet reconnected! No fooling... M hs

As many know my landlord/mechanic replaced the timing belt on my 93 Celicia. He did a beautiful job. But he snapped this 3/8th socket head off his wrench That incredible power and I don’t think a breaker bar was involved. I’ve done a search on S & S Tools And have found nothing out about them. But it seems to be high quality tool To all you you machine heads out there As any one heard of S&S Tools ? Thanks! Mohs

A while back, my disc cutter plates stuck. Couldn’t get them unstuck.
Called Rio. After much discussion and call to disc cutter support, the solution was: drop it from a few inches above the work bench.
Repeat as necessary.
It worked. 😃. I like simple solutions!

Mohs A 2 second Google search shows they are in Waltham, MA. Can't say I have ever heard of them previous to this, but they have their followers. Said one of them: " Great deals at this store... They have tools with damaged boxes, or overstock from other stores."
Said another: "Brand new tools at a great price. You won't find a better deal on many things: drill batteries, tool boxes, jack hammers. They really have it all. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Their prices blow Home Depot's out of the water!"
Sounds kinda like an outlet store. They do have a website - S & S Tools

Marvel at this wondrous machined tool 12 inches of heft. 1/2” drive. Adjustable ratchet head. Such a satisfying ratcheting sound. Serious tool/ Have you tried using a 12 pound ball peen hammer? The feel and heft is profound, especially when hammering nails. It helps get rid of any pent-up aggression. Cheers, johnw

I, too, love that ratcheting sound. Our sliding glass door also makes that wonderful sound.
