Very nice. I like the simplicity of solid colored cabs. What are your plans for it?

I usually end up cutting things that sit around until I get motivated to make something out of them. I'll likely make some type of setting for it, but accent it heavily with some lapis or sodalite. I like the combination of blue, white and silver. Probably get around to it sometime in late 2020

My resolution is to create cabs that have flat spots and scratches that are nearly impossible to buff out. SInce that seems to happen with most I make, I suspect this is one resolution I can keep.

Guess I will jump in with a Graveyard Point, Fantasy Plume claim cab. Two 33 mm side and one 30 mm. Tried to get a snowflake feel... Maybe Nanook and his huskies got to one corner!
Slab
Pre-form
Finished cab.

OK. I went with standard winter colors. Here is my contribution: Sowbelly Agate by Stephan Telm, on Flickr The background really influenced the color balance. The final product is true to color. Clearly, I changed my mind from what I drew, and put the broad part of the triangle at the translucent portion. Also, the pattern changed quickly as I domed.

Decided to enter. Even though most of the water and sewer pipes in my house are now frozen. Please bear with me here. Calling this the Spirit of Winter. The Spirit captured when the first thaw of spring arrives. Was unable to do a Borax cleaning in tumbler, but soaked in Borax and used a toothbrush to remove as much polish as I could. There are lots of crystals in this which I did not want to destroy. Many areas which look like remaining polish are crystals. Method used was with Dremel, hand tools and rotary tumbler. Preform after some shaping with Dremel. spirit Size reference. 1 spirit Entry. 2 spiritI love this freeform cab. One of my best.

Here's mine, in under the wire . . . A bit of crazy lace. Ended up looking a bit like dirty snow however. Forgot to take a size reference piece - it's about the size of a quarter. Anyway, here it is: Slab: Preform: Cab:

Bluesky78987 That looks just like most of the windows in my house recently. Nice job. I love how you captured the essence of the stone.
