Name that Rock Contest
The purpose of this contest is to give a name to a disenfranchised rock that needs a new name. It is currently suffering from a sort of multiple personality disorder due to being called by several names like Agatized Palmwood, Indonesian Agatized Palm Root and a really terrible name being Maggot Agate, and now Death Plate. It is our job to give it a name that has distinction and is more fitting to its heritage. The Palm.
This is the rock that has be disparaged. Is this what you would call a Maggot Agate?
Contest Details
The Name that Rock contest is open to all RTH members and each member is requested to provide their interpretation of what the rocks name should be.
Contest Duration
Phase One: Provide only one name for the rock by sending a post with the name to Tela (aka) rockjunquie who will be collecting the information. This portion of the contest will last for one week starting Monday, January 28th and ends Monday February 4.
Phase Two: All names submitted will be listed in a poll and all RTH members are requested to vote in the poll for the name they think is best. This portion of the contest will last one week starting Tuesday, February 5th and ends Tuesday, February 12th.
Phase Three: The poll for the best name will be tallied and the winners name will be announced by Friday February 15th.
In the event of a tie, the first person who submitted the name is the winner.

Now to the award for the Name that Rock contest.
I am happy to announce all the cookers at The Big Crazy’s Pastry Shop have agreed to prepare one of their World Famous Pastry’s for the winner. It will be gifted inclusive of any shipping costs.
