That long tail looks very nice. I think it will make it hard to set the very sharp point though.

How about: Tail Dragger (Howlin’ Wolf) I’ve Got A Tiger by the Tail (Rick Springfield - LOL) Sting in the Tail (Scorpions) Just a couple of options... Or if you want to get fancy: Top Hat, White Tie and Tails (Fred Astaire) Nice work on beautiful material |

I would prong set it, with the tail up like a teardrop.

From somebody who never made any cab before: how fragile are those tails? Do they put the entire job at risk?

When making cabs with any kind of delicate feature you muse carefully choose the material. With porcelain jaspers like the willow creek or morrisonite I inspect carefully before cutting, and I lose a few anyway. |
