That was the cut that made me buy the slab! Does it show on the other side? With my luck I buy a slab for a certain feature, start grinding and lose it all together.

It is not on the other side, but I think I can keep it. I know you are already thinking along these lines but if I was serious about trying to keep the orb I would probably go wide on something like this and try to keep it as far into the stone as possible and let the pit(s) become what they will. This is why I end up with so many freeforms Fun game, thanks! I've been thinking lately about how we need to start these again

There are so many beautiful pre forms popping out at me on this slab. In retrospect, I would probably select a few prime cabs and cut them. Then I would cut a few more, do a little more shaping and throw them in the tumbler. Thanks Tommy for your latest post which made me rethink things.
