When I complete a cab I remove it from the dop stick and put in a riker box. I don't take the glue off. I have some cabs that I was going to sell and needed to remove the glue. I sanded it off and since I probably used too much glue it takes a while to remove. Is there a down side to soaking a cab in acetone? I probably need to do a little sanding anyway, but am trying to speed up the process.

Acetone won't bother your stones. Make sure you cover the jar the acetone is in so it doesn't evaporate on you.
I've also used Super Solvent. It works a lot faster.

Yoy might try a razor blade scraper, they work well for me with epoxy.

Use my pocket knife, comes off good. Use nails and then use flame to heat nail. Comes right off and any super glue left on cab is crusty and is super easy!!!

I grind the top of the nail head to remove the embossed pattern and then a drop of Super Glue, heat nail shank then razor knife to peel off glue. Easiest method around , Orrum got it right on the money !
